DU offering BA (Vocational Studies) in human resource management

Hi I am ----.. I did class 12th in Commerce stream, but I wanna do management course in graduation, b coz it is very popular these days.HR people are earning very well these days. So, i planned that I would do Human Resource Management. I want to go to any college of Delhi University. It is conducting BA in Human Resource Management. But, since HR Management is usually taught in BBA courses, will pursuing it in BA HRM course make any difference? I mean, is BA in HR Management less valuable than BBA coz BBA is specially designed for management subjects.?

Well, according to me you should go for a BBA degree as this would definitely be more valuable than a B.A program. After pursuing BBA you can go for an MBA program with a specialization in Human Resource Management. This would give you an added boost to your career

Hi friends…..would like to share my views on this. B.A (HRM) is offered by college of vocational studies, DU. The B.A (HRM) course offered by the institute seeks to bridge the gap between traditional university education and social environment. So there is no harm in pursuing B.A (HRM) instead of BBA. The opportunities are equally good for both the courses.

I also agree to it.. Personally I feel that courses offered by Delhi University are very valuable, even though you have done any traditional course with no specialization. This is because of the brand name of DU. But hey! Just make sure that you choose a nice college in DU, because the placements of colleges in DU vary from one to other.

Hi mridul on my own experience you should go for BBA .I’m pursuing my MBA after my BBA from Sikkim Manipal University distance program and there is no entrance exam or merit, SMUDE uses the latest edunxt technology to create a virtual classroom where you can interact with the faculty and students and thereby also network with other students, which is a unique and one of its kind feature amongst other colleges offering distance education. for the prospectus and speaking to their counsellor you can register for free http://www.smude.edu.in
