Hi friends, this is Janki. Plz inform me about the Clerical Exam Pattern.

Hi Janki, let me tell you that generally exam consists of two stages- written test and personal interview. Written test may consist of both objective and descriptive test. At times, it contains only objective test, which consist of around 200 questions, which tests the candidate’s Reasoning Ability, English language skills, Numerical Ability, and Clerical Aptitude while the descriptive test generally is of 45 minutes of duration and consists of 5 compulsory questions, which examines the candidate’s knowledge on socio-economic development and communication skills. For India Bank Clerical Exam, the Descriptive Paper and English language skills section is only of qualifying nature and marks obtained in them are not counted, in order to decide the merit. The basic rules differ for different Bank but mostly questions are asked on above pattern. Prepare well and all the best!

Hi janki once again, yes mostly negative marking is there for every wrong answer so be careful while attempting them.

Hi surya, priyanka here, the medium of examination is generally English but at times, the options for objective questions may be provided in Hindi except for the questions, which will tests the English language skills. Even, the option to answer the descriptive questions at times is in Hindi, English and the official language of the state.
