Hi friends, this is Ayesha. I am a resident of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh; please tell me can I apply for CBSE-PMT examination. If yes, guide me with the examination pattern as well.

Hi Ayesha, I m ajay, let me first inform u that CBSE-PMT is an all India level entrance examination. The test is also referred as, All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and is conducted for admission into 15% government quota seats in various medical and dental colleges, located across the country. In case, you meet other eligibility criteria enlisted by the authority, u can definitely appear in entrance examination.

CBSE-PMT Entrance Examination or All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) is conducted in two stages- Preliminary Examination and Final Examination. The preliminary stage consists of 200 multiple choice questions on the science subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The question paper comprise of 50 questions each on Physics and Chemistry while Biology (Botany & Zoology) part consists of 100 questions. Final Examination is meant only for those candidates, who have successfully cracked the earlier stage. This also consists of two objective papers testing the candidate’s knowledge on the aforementioned disciplines.
