    Tips to get success in IPS/indian police service exam

    Please friends someone suggest me some tips to be success in IPS/indian police service exam . Tell me how to prepare for exams and what type of books i should read to succeed ?

    Hi, it’s one of the important exams conducted for a very prestigious post.
    The exam is done in two parts: Preliminary and Main. After appearing in preliminary exam, you will get less time to prepare for the main. So prepare for both at a time. First go through the syllabus thoroughly. Prelim exam consists of two papers I.e. optional (Chosen by the candidates) and general studies. For current affairs, study the newspapers and magazines regularly other than 6th to 12th std. books of NCERT. Choose the optional depending on your knowledge about that subject. You can go through the previous years exam papers for a broad view.
