What will job offers be like after this course? Can any seniors from TISS tell how the experience is at TISS?
I am not a senior and haven’t studied at Tata Institute of Social Sciences institute. But by far TISS is a huge brand. TISS itself claims 100% placements. Since I am not an ex-alumni I cannot vouch for this statement. However on searching for views by alumni the internet laid before me many positive comments where students have praised the teaching methods and the placements as well. Most of them have reported of fortune 100 companies coming and selecting students from TISS. They have also remarked that the packages are handsome. Most of them have also said that the placement cell of TISS works really hard to bring the best companies and place the students with best at par industry salaries. Apart from that many of them also have stated that faculties also help a lot in getting placements by leveraging their industry connections. So the bottom line is if you get to be a part of the brand TISS then you better not leave any stone unturned to get the best out of your class room lectures and network as best as you can with your placement cell members and your faculty as well.
