Growth depends entirely on your capability as a medical professional. What are important when you are looking for growth are SKILL SETS and PASSION. THERE IS NO POINT IN BEING THE WORST IN THE BEST FIELD. So it makes sense to be the best in the field of medical science which you are passionate about.

Case point, let’s say parents might think that a core medical specialization course for example General surgery, Cardiology, Neurology, etc are better paid than dentistry. But your heart and skills are inclined toward dentistry. So if you are pressurized to become a Cardiologist or Neurologist you might not be able to perform your duty well since there will be more passionate people better than you. However, if you follow your heart and became a dentist your passion will lead towards a desire for more and more learning and determination to pull through and a passion to excel. All this and your experience will result in your popularity as a dentist than if you were a Cardiologist or Neurologist. And as you know, the more the number of patients the more the money you make.

So make up your mind first which branch of medicine or alternate medicine you would like to study. Anyways passion will always ensure that you succeed growing both in terms of good remuneration as well as fame.

However since you are showing interest here’s to let you know that according to industry, the doctors in government and private hospitals are well paid. The salaries of entry-level doctors may vary from Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 15,000 per month. On the other hand, the remuneration of doctors depends mainly upon their experience and popularity in that field. The Dentists at the entry-level are paid around Rs 8,000 – Rs 10,000 which increases with experience.

In Unani medicine, an individual can be paid between Rs 3, 00,000 and 4, 00,000 per annum. Generally, the remuneration in Unani medicine is mainly focused on the experience of the person, and standard of the organizations.
