    CA eligibility criteria

Hi everyone! I m a CA aspirant and want to prepare for it well. But I m very week in math, just pass in math in the 12th. Since CA includes math, will that affect my eligibility for CA from good institutes? What is the basic aggregate percentage required for CA? I have dropped one year for CA preparation, so I have not joined any UG course.

Tapasya, it won’t affect much if u study B. Com at undergraduate level and prepare for CA side by side. Though, study of Mathematics is useful, but it is not compulsory. U need to have a basic knowledge of maths, good analytical skills, problem solving and decision making skills. Well your selection will depend on your scores in Common Proficiency Test (CPT).
