    Best books for history for civil services

    I m doing my second year BA from DU and wish to build my career as an IAS officer. For that, I m also preparing for civil services side by side. I wish to take history as the subject for both prelims and mains. Plz guide me about the best books for history for civil services.

    I can’t tell u thoroughly but few books I can suggest u, like:
    Modern Indian History - Groover & Grooover
    A struggle for Independence - Bipin Chandra
    Wonder that was India – Rizzvi
    Ancient India Social and Culture - Luniya
